New Blogspot... for samples only!

I started a new blog that is simple and has all samples that we have successfully flipped in the past. You can even hear and weed out the tracks in my music player at the top of the blog. If you like this blog, share the info and help it grow. Links will die if people do not download them and I am starting this from the ground up. If you have a blog in relation to what we are doing, please add us to your blogroll. If you are a music producer, make sure you bookmark the site and come back a few times a week.

I (Jesse) spend about 2 hours every day just looking for and chopping samples. I had gained these samples over 5 years of making beats. We have sold over 5500 leases since 2009, and over 200 exclusive tracks too. We have engineered over 200 projects and about 20 entire albums. The competition! Did you lease a BasementBeat?

We have started to accept tracks that are on a BasementBeat for consideration to own a free exclusive rights contract for the song that you submit. We will post the top 3 tracks in about 2 months. If you are one of the top 3 artists to be picked, you will win 5 free leases of your choice worth up to $75. The winner of the competition finishing in 1st place will earn whatever beat they used to enter the competition.

If you submit a track that we had already sold or wish for something different, that is cool too, you can also earn exclusive rights to 1 beat worth up to $250 or 25 free leases!

If you win... we will send a fully tracked out wav file folder, a pro tools session file folder, and a signed contract giving you 100% ownership over the track if you are the winner!

To enter, just submit your best or favorite track to Support@BasementBeatz.com. The only 2 stipulations to win this contest, is that there is one entry per email. You must also either use the email that is associated with the payment, or you must confirm and tell us the email that was used to purchase the lease. Whatever track you enter must be on a leased/exclusive BasementBeat. No free D/L or tagged tracks allowed.

Submit mp3, mp4, or wav files only. WMAs will be rejected. If you have YouTube videos, that is cool too if you send us an acceptable audio file with the link.

Feb 5th-April 15th we will collect the tracks. Make sure you have your artist name, and name of the song attached.

Sample Haven..... for sale!

I spend 1-2 hours every single day weeding through samples. I have seemed to become more and more addicted to stock piling gems for myself to flip. I have went through my sample phases, and started with the music that was least likely to get me in trouble with copyrights. Now I have started to not care and I sample anything and everything I come across that sounds good. I wanted to give producers the opportunity to get some of my exclusive samples... for a price. I am selling sample packs now. They are 10 samples, and I will never give them to anyone else but you. For $20, I will send you a folder with 10 bangin samples from almost any genre of music you might prefer to sample. The best way to go.. is to take a random bunch of samples that you might not have used before.

Right now I have about 3,000+ sample worthy mp3 tracks that I either ripped from my own vinyl crates, or tracks that I have got from blogs like this one. I assure that all samples are bangers. I have listed sample packs on the blog before, but who wants to use the same samples as everyone else? That is no fun. I can no longer give my samples away, because I was giving you all the ones that I had used myself and sold. I had run dry, but I do not expect to sit for 1-2 hours every day for charity either. Especially when you producers who use my samples... are using them to profit.

We are trying to show people what we do on a regular every day basis. We will start posting more in depth videos and tutorials on how we operate. This is going to help artists get more in touch with the music that they make, and it will help many music producers get an idea of what goes into making a track.
